Will the stainless steel surface dull or damage my kitchen knives?
No. Prisdel chopping boards feature a specially calibrated satin brushed finish engineered to provide just the right surface resistance. In regular everyday cooking (chopping vegetables, slicing fruits, dicing paneer and meats), high-carbon and stainless steel kitchen knives retain their sharp edge just like they do on wood.
Why is 1.5mm thickness important compared to other boards?
Many generic steel boards on online marketplaces are stamped from paper-thin 0.8mm or 1.0mm sheet metal. They bend easily, flex when pressed, and vibrate noisily. Prisdel's 1.5mm heavy-gauge steel provides substantial weight (1.8+ kg) and structural rigidity that never bends or warps.
Does the board slip on granite or marble kitchen countertops?
Our flagship model features an ergonomic 90-degree folded countertop lip that hugs the edge of your slab, preventing front-to-back sliding. In addition, each board comes with 4 high-friction silicone grip pads that hold the board firmly on slick granite, quartz, or tile surfaces.
Is this 100% food-grade stainless steel?
Yes. We exclusively use certified AISI 304 food-grade surgical stainless steel. It contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel for maximum corrosion resistance and zero chemical leeching.
2. Hygiene & Cleaning
Does turmeric, beetroot, or masala stain the steel?
Never! Because 304 stainless steel is 100% non-porous, turmeric, chili oil, curry paste, and beetroot juice cannot penetrate the surface. A simple wipe with dishwashing liquid leaves it spotless and shining.
Does it absorb strong odors from garlic, onions, or fish?
Zero odor absorption. In fact, stainless steel naturally binds to sulfur molecules from onions and garlic to neutralize odors. Simply rinse with cool water.
Can I wash it in a home dishwasher?
Yes, all Prisdel cutting boards are 100% dishwasher safe. They can handle high-temperature sanitizing cycles without warping or fading.

How long will delivery take to my city?
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours from our fulfillment hubs. Metro cities (Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata) receive delivery in 2–3 business days. Rest of India takes 3–5 business days via Delhivery Express or BlueDart.
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
Yes! Cash on Delivery is available across 26,000+ Indian PIN codes. You can pay cash or UPI to the delivery courier at your doorstep.
Are delivery charges extra?
Delivery is 100% FREE on all orders above ₹499. For smaller orders under ₹499, a nominal flat delivery charge of ₹50 applies.
4. 2-Year Warranty & Returns
What does the 2-Year Extended Warranty cover?
Our warranty covers rusting, plate warping, edge cracking, and structural manufacturing defects under ordinary culinary application. It does not cover superficial knife contact marks (which are natural on any metal or wood board) or intentional damage.
What is your 7-Day Return Policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your Prisdel product, you can request a doorstep return or replacement within 7 days of delivery. We arrange a free courier pickup from your home.
